Thin, golden pork chops simmered in a creamy Marsala mushroom sauce with shallots and garlic. This easy Pork Marsala is ready in 35 minutes and tastes great over mashed potatoes or pasta.
Place the pork chops between two layers of plastic wrap. Use a meat mallet to pound them until they are about a quarter-inch thick. Sprinkle both sides with all-purpose flour, salt, and pepper.
Heat oil over medium heat in a large skillet. Add the pork and cook until both sides are golden brown, about 3 to 4 minutes per side. Transfer the pork to a plate and set aside.
Melt butter in the skillet. Add the mushrooms and cook until they turn golden brown. Then, add the shallots and garlic. Cook for another 2 minutes, until the shallots soften. Deglaze the pan with Marsala wine and let it simmer for 1 minute. Stir in chicken broth and heavy cream. Return the pork to the pan and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until the sauce thickens and the pork is warmed through. Garnish with parsley.
Serve over mashed potatoes or pasta and enjoy.
