Easy Waffle from Scratch
These waffles are incredibly light, crispy and super easy to make. Enjoy them with fresh berries, whipped cream and maple syrup!
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk (warm)
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
- 1.5 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat waffle iron.
Dry Ingredients: Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder in a large mixing bowl and salt and whisk to combine.
Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl whisk the eggs and stir in the warm milk, melted butter and vanilla extract.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until blended.
Ladle the batter into the preheated waffle iron and cook until the waffles are golden brown and crisp. Serve immediately or lay on a cooling rack until cool.
